About the Practice

Set in a fun and relaxed atmosphere Kiren's style of yoga is designed to allow you to seamlessly move from one pose the next. It is in essence a moving meditation with a strong emphasis on integrating breath and movement in order to bring your mind and body into balance.

Group Yoga Classes

Kiren's group yoga classes are ideal for toning and rejuvenating your body and can be enjoyed by people of all levels. Each class is a ritual journey that allows you to become more in tune with your body, enhance your senses and develop your ability to take your yoga practice off the mat and eventually into your daily life.

Through practicing yoga we eventually come to discover how the breath can serve as our bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind. As we move deeper into a posture we also use the breath as a tool in which we release blocked energy and old emotional wounds that are stored within the physical body on a cellular level. Gradually we begin to free ourselves from our old behavioural patterns providing us with an opportunity in which we can make positive changes to our lives.

De-Stress and Rejuvenate

This is a workshop designed to increase vitality and harmony to the mind, body and spirit. Designed for those who want to achieve balance in their lives and reduce stresses of modern living, this class combines a series of flowing asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), chant and deep relaxation techniques to revitalise pranic energy, invigorate the body and enrich the soul.

Deep Stretch and Relaxation

Set in low light ambience, this workshop is designed to take us inwards and combines slow stretching asanas with pranayama to help open up and relax the entire body. The practice concludes with tratica (candle gazing) and meditation.

Meditation Classes

There is an old Buddhist saying... 'To a mind that is still, the whole world surrenders". Allowing the breath to take us deep within, we draw our awareness to that still place that is within all of us. Through observing our thoughts and not reacting to them with conditioned responses, we start to experience a shift in our own paradigm... gradually, we become less caught up in the cycle of cause and effect. We live our life in the present moment and are open to the limitless potential that has been in front of us all along.
